Spring 2009

Editors Notes

Marrying local winemaker Ben Radford, South African born Gill Radford has made the Barossa her home - bringing with her a colourful story and inspiring life philosophy. A chef, vigneron, winemaker and once aspiring thespian, Gill shares her journey from the vineyards of South Africa to the hills of the Barossa in this, our fresh Spring edition. As well as chatting to Gill, we meet one of the Barossa's great characters, charismatic and life-loving 87 year old Dennis Hage and invite you into the homes of the region as part of our first Home Seasonal Focus. We are also delighted to introduce multi-instrumentalist Melissa Agate and share the recipes of local chef Stuart Oldfield from Handmade Catering. We hope you enjoy the read!
