It was love at first bite when Barossa foodie Barb Buggy discovered the secrets of French provincial cuisine 28 years ago. In 1979, at the age of 23, Barb left her rural home on a New South Wales sheep station and travelled to the Northern Hemisphere to experience life in an alternate universe—as nanny to the children of the Saudi Arabian royal family.
